MIND Research Institute Recognized by SIIA as Best Game-Based Curriculum Solution

ST Math Earns Prestigious Industry Recognition

Washington, D.C., June 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ST Math was named the Best Game-Based Curriculum Solution of 2018 as part of the annual SIIA CODiE Awards. CODiE Award recipients are the companies producing the most innovative business and education technology products across the country, and around the world.

“We are honored to have received this award from SIIA,” said Brett Woudenberg, CEO of MIND Research Institute. “This year we celebrate our 20th anniversary, so this award is especially meaningful to all those who have contributed their talents and passion to create such an impactful program. We are very grateful to SIIA and our peers for recognizing our efforts in building life-long learners and future STEM leaders.”

ST Math is a visual instructional program that builds a deep conceptual understanding of math through rigorous learning and creative problem solving to engage, motivate and challenge PreK-8 students toward higher achievement. The program was an SIIA CODiE Award winner for Best Game-Based Curriculum Solution in 2015 and Best Mathematics Instructional Solution in 2008. ST Math was also a finalist in the Best Mathematics Instructional Solution category this year.

“I am impressed by the level of innovation and creativity demonstrated by the 2018 CODiE Award winners. These products are opening doors for learners of all ages by developing and utilizing new technologies to respond to student and educator needs,” said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA.

The winner announcement was made by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, during the SIIA Annual Conference & CODiE Awards in San Francisco. 40 awards were given for products and services deployed specifically for education and learning professionals.

An SIIA CODiE Award win is a prestigious honor as each award winner was first reviewed by expert judges including educators and administrators, whose evaluations determined the finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products, and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.
